He has received a Diploma in Gynaec Endoscopy from the prestigious Kiel School of Gynaecological Endoscopy, Germany.
Dr. Balkawade has been a faculty at the course of Diploma in IVF and Reproductive Medicine by UNIVERSITATSKLINIKUM Schleswig-Holstein Germany. He has been active in academics too, being a teaching Faculty for 5 years at Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College, Pune
He has also been invited to deliver Guest Lectures at various National & International conferences. He has to his credit various articles in indexed National & International Journals. He has been an editor for a number of books on the subject and authored various chapters in different textbooks.
